In July this year, Teclean Industrial Co., Ltd. successfully completed the Sedex social responsibility audit. As an integrated garment enterprise combining R&D, manufacturing, and trading capabilities, we have consistently embedded labour rights, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and business ethics into every stage of our daily operations. Through a standardized management system, we actively respond to the sustainable sourcing requirements of both domestic and international customers.
The audit conducted a comprehensive review based on the four key pillars of Sedex. Multiple core operational data points and management systems were recognized by the auditors, and Teclean received the assessment of “Robust Management Systems.”

For integrated garment manufacturing and trading enterprises with a strong presence in overseas markets, the SEDEX (SMETA) social responsibility audit has long become an essential requirement for entering the supply chains of supermarkets and brands in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Unlike pure processing factories, integrated manufacturing and trading enterprises operate both production workshops and foreign trade business divisions, involving more complex labour management, environmental management, and supply chain governance requirements. This successful completion of the audit fully demonstrates the professionalism and stability of our compliance management, providing strong endorsement for Teclean’s continued expansion in overseas markets.
Strict Adherence to the Four Pillars and Fully Standardized Compliance Across Operations
This Sedex 4-Pillar audit covered four key dimensions: labour standards, health and safety, environment, and business ethics. Through on-site inspections, document reviews, employee interviews, and other multi-dimensional assessment methods, the audit team conducted a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation of Teclean’s operational management system. Teclean Industrial Co., Ltd. performed strongly across all core areas.
In terms of labour management, Teclean strictly implements compliant employment practices, standardizes the entire process of labour contract management, attendance and payroll administration, and overtime approval, and has established a sound employee communication and grievance mechanism. Regular training on employee rights protection and anti-bullying is also carried out. Stable and people-oriented management has enabled Teclean to maintain an annual employee turnover rate that remains at a relatively low level within the industry, laying a solid workforce foundation for stable production, consistent quality control, and on-time order delivery.

With regard to occupational health and safety, Teclean implements routine safety production controls and has established comprehensive systems covering equipment protection, chemical management, fire safety, and emergency response. Regular safety inspections and emergency drills are conducted, and on-site hazards are identified, corrected, and followed up through a closed-loop management process. Teclean has achieved zero work-related injury records for the year, building a long-term and effective occupational health and safety management system.

In the field of environmental protection, Teclean keeps pace with the global low-carbon development trend in the textile and apparel industry and has established a comprehensive environmental risk management system. Dedicated measures have been implemented for water resource management, packaging optimization, and ecological protection. At the same time, Teclean actively aligns with EU environmental regulations to accurately meet the green supply chain requirements of overseas customers.
In terms of business ethics, Teclean upholds the principle of integrity and compliance in its operations. It has established and improved management systems for anti-bribery, anti-fraud, and fair trading, while standardizing cooperation processes with upstream and downstream partners. These measures effectively mitigate supply chain compliance risks and foster a healthy, transparent, and sustainable cooperation ecosystem.

The Audit Is a Milestone, and Responsibility Building Continues Forward
The favorable outcome of this Sedex 4P audit is recognition of Teclean’s previous management efforts and also demonstrates that we have established a relatively solid foundation in social responsibility management. However, we remain fully aware that social responsibility building has no end point. Passing the audit is not the conclusion, but a new beginning.
Going forward, Teclean will continue to improve its social responsibility management system, enhance the protection of employee rights and interests, strengthen safety production and environmental management, and reinforce business ethics and supply chain compliance requirements, so as to respond to the expectations of customers, employees, and society with even higher standards.
As an integrated manufacturing and trading garment company, we will continue to uphold the principles of people-centered development, lawful compliance, safe production, green development, and integrity-based operations, and promote long-term, healthy, and sustainable development with a more stable, transparent, and responsible approach.
